Over the years, various holiday camps have been taking place at Vinha Velha during the summer months.
Since 2016, the nearby Waldorf School in Figueira started organising summer camps and activities.

Since 2009, teenagers with intensive pedagogical care and support, have been received on site in cooperation with the german youth care. The adolescents are actively integrated into the daily work and community life. They have the opportunity to acquire social competences, to take responsibilities and to prepare themselves for school graduation.

A Hortinha 

is a Waldorf orientated project founded by an International group of parents. Since 2017 this inactive organizes a small childrens daycare group on the farm, taking advantage of the natural environment of Vinha Velha.

Na Floresta 

is a bilingual (PT and ENG) alternative education project for  children aged 6 to 8 years old (2024/2025) which provides a program for  homeschooled children. Led by two qualified teachers, their  child-centred and holistic program takes place in the beautiful natural  surroundings of the farm.
